Abir is an international engagement professional with an academic background in Geophysics (MSc, Utrecht University) and extensive experience in managing global partnerships. She is Deputy Head of Research Partnerships at Durham University’s International Office, leading engagement across Europe and overseeing strategic collaborations, including the NSUP partnership. Abir specialises in building meaningful relationships with academics, professional services, and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, collaborative projects.
