Helen F. Wilson
Helen F. Wilson is Professor of Cultural Geography at Durham University. She leads research on human-wildlife relations, species on the move, and the social, cultural and political dimensions that shape urban nature and policy. Her research on environmental heritage and the movement of black-legged kittiwakes in the UK and Norway has involved collaborations with marine ecologists, local councils, planners, architects and wildlife organisations. She is fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, trustee of the Natural History Society of Northumberland and editor of Social and Cultural Geography.
