Marianne Zeyringer
Marianne Zeyringer is a Professor of Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Oslo, where she leads a research group on energy system modelling. The group’s work focuses on designing future net-zero energy systems that are climate-resilient, socially just and accepted, and account for wider environmental impacts such as biodiversity.
Marianne also serves as the Academic Chair for Climate within the Circle U. European University Alliance. She holds a joint PhD in Energy Systems Modelling from Utrecht University and BOKU University in Vienna. Before joining UiO, she conducted research at the UCL Energy Institute and at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Petten.
