Mattia Cecchinato

Mattia is Manager for Offshore Wind at WindEurope, which represent the entire value chain of wind power in Europe. Mattia coordinates WindEurope’s work related to offshore wind. He advises on policy and regulatory options for planning, tendering, and deploying offshore wind. He coordinates the relations with maritime stakeholders, including ports, defence and armed forces, NGOs, and fisheries. Mattia also leads WindEurope’s work on biodiversity impacts of wind energy projects. Mattia has an MSc in Environmental Sciences. He also has previous working experience at the European Commission DG RTD, and within WindEurope as Environment and Planning Analyst.
