Svend Soyland

Svend Soyland is a seconded national expert in European Commission (DG research and innovation). His area of expertise decarbonisation of maritime transport. He has previously worked in the Research Council of Norway and Nordic Energy Research (a part of the Nordic Council of Ministers) specifically on launching research Calls focusing on decarbonising transportation and industries. Svend has also worked in the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Justice, United Nations and as a lecturer at the University of Hong Kong. He holds degrees in political science and criminology.
